Ledgy, the equity and executive compensation management platform trusted by thousands of companies worldwide, has appointed Emilie Sylvester as Tax & Compliance Lead (Counsel). Trained as an incentives lawyer with deep expertise in global employee and executive incentive plans, Emilie brings a practical, commercial perspective to one of the most technical areas of equity. Her appointment strengthens Ledgy's ability to support customers as they navigate equity tax and compliance across an increasingly complex global landscape.

Equity expertise across the full lifecycle

Emilie's career has been built around the full lifecycle of equity, from plan design through to global compliance. She joins Ledgy from Wilson Sonsini, having previously been at Tapestry Compliance. Across both firms she has advised companies of every shape and size, from high-growth private tech startups to some of the world's largest multinationals, helping them design, establish and operate equity arrangements that are clear, compliant and commercially effective.

Her work has consistently focused on building plans that are aligned with each company's market, competitive in attracting talent, and flexible enough to adapt as the business grows and changes.

She has also supported companies through corporate transactions, assessing the health of existing equity arrangements, ensuring transaction readiness, and helping leadership teams navigate the impact of M&A, financing rounds, restructurings and IPOs on their equity plans.

Building tax and compliance into the platform

At Ledgy, Emilie will work across teams to ensure the platform keeps pace with evolving global tax and regulatory requirements, and to help customers navigate equity with confidence wherever they operate. She will also embed tax and compliance thinking into product development, translating complex equity, legal and tax concepts into clear, practical and scalable solutions for customers.
