A new chapter: Armon Bättig becomes CEO of Ledgy

Armon Bättig steps up as CEO and Chairman of Ledgy, the global equity management and executive compensation platform, as Ledgy enters its boldest phase yet, following the strongest year of growth in the company's history.
A leadership evolution
Today, we announce that Armon Bättig, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Ledgy, has become the company's sole CEO and Chairman. This evolution in leadership marks a natural and exciting progression, one that reflects both where Ledgy has come from and, more importantly, where it is heading.
Armon has been instrumental in building Ledgy from the ground up. Over the past six years, he has helped grow the company from its earliest days to a profitable, global platform now trusted by 1,000+ private and publicly listed companies across 40+ jurisdictions.
This moment also calls for reflection and gratitude to Ledgy's co-founders, who in 2017 saw that companies were struggling to make equity work and set out to fix it. As we enter this new chapter, Yoko Spirig and Ben Brandt, two of the four co-founders, have decided to pursue new endeavours beyond Ledgy.
Yoko's vision and leadership as Co-Founder and CEO were central to building Ledgy into what it is today. She was the force behind some of the company's most pivotal milestones, from bringing the right investors on board, to achieving profitability, all while shaping the culture and values that make what Ledgy is as a place to work and build.
Ben, as Co-Founder and CPO, shaped Ledgy in more ways than one. He was the product mind behind so much of what makes Ledgy exceptional and loved by over 200,000 users across 70 countries globally, and equally, the driving force behind the values, compensation philosophy, and climate strategy that define who we are as a company. His fingerprints are on the foundations our customers and team rely on every day.
To both Yoko and Ben: thank you dearly. Ledgy would not be what it is without you.
Alongside Armon, co-founder and CTO Timo Horstschaefer remains a driving force behind Ledgy as we enter this new chapter. Timo has been the technical backbone of the platform since day one and his continued leadership ensures that the engineering depth and product ambition remain at the heart of everything we build next.
Where we're headed
Ledgy's mission is to align, inspire and empower every team globally with ownership, and our ambition is to become the first fully integrated global platform combining short- and long-term compensation, ranging from equity- and deferred compensation to carry and all the way to pensions and savings. We're rooted in Europe, but we're building for the world, with clients in over 45 countries, with the UK and US being a strong growth market.
The equity compensation industry remains fragmented and outdated. We're here to change that, making ownership simple, powerful and universal. Under Timo’s and Armon's leadership, Ledgy will move with even greater speed and focus as we pursue that goal: building an AI-powered platform that earns trust through automation, transparency, compliance, and that becomes a lifelong partner for the companies and people who build together.
