At Ledgy, we are committed to keeping our customers’ data safe and secure. So we’re delighted to share our latest data security milestone: Ledgy is ISO 27001 certified.
After completing our SOC 2 Type 2 audit last year, we are pleased to have further validation of our security protocols, now certified as compliant with the world’s most widely recognised international standards.
What is ISO 27001?
ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It sets out the criteria for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an organisation’s ISMS. The standard provides a holistic approach to risk management: it helps companies proactively identify and address potential weaknesses, promoting cyber-resilience and operational excellence.
Earning an ISO 27001 certification means undergoing an extensive audit of our procedures to verify that Ledgy is compliant with the highest requirements for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) according to ISO27001:2022. The development and implementation of an ISO 27001-compliant ISMS ensures that Ledgy has systems in place to manage risks related to the security of data we own or handle, in line with international best practices.
What’s next for Ledgy?
While ISO 27001 compliance is worth celebrating, it’s only a stepping stone. Ledgy will continue to build best-in-class enterprise security and uphold the highest standards of data privacy and protection, to build even greater trust with our customers and network.
Commenting on Ledgy's certification, CEO and co-founder Yoko Spirig said:
