Ledgy completes SOC 2 Type 2 audit ensuring high standards of data security
Ledgy has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 audit, with no exceptions noted. Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 compliance demonstrates Ledgy’s commitment to keeping critical systems and data secure, in accordance with international best practices.
Best-in-class data security
A Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 audit is an assessment designed to verify that a company is compliant with widely and internationally recognized trust standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). These standards are used by companies all over the world and require a strict and thorough examination of systems, controls, policies and procedures. As a company that stores customer data in the cloud, it is important to ensure that our procedures are in line with ever-changing cloud security parameters.
As opposed to a SOC 2 Type 1 audit, which assesses the procedures an organisation has in place at a certain point in time, a Type 2 audit evaluates the trust services criteria relevant to security, availability and confidentiality over a certain time period. Third-party independent auditors have determined that Ledgy meets these standards, with no exceptions, validating our continued commitment to best-in-class data security.
