candi is using solar power to help SMEs across Asia and Africa free up capital for their businesses as well as reduce carbon emissions. We asked their CEO Philippe Flamand a few questions about their climate actions, the importance of climate action, and more. Check it out below.
It is not just important to candi, it is at the very core of our purpose, to power a more sustainable planet. This is imperative to safeguard the value of our planet's natural assets, and in so doing safeguard our own future.
Our business is built around providing companies, large and small, with clean power, thus our everyday operations are fully aligned with having a positive environmental impact.
We will continue to build on our product offering of financing and operating solar systems throughout emerging markets, in the hope of bringing the benefits (environmental and financial) of switching to a cleaner form of power to all that want it.
Think hard about your purpose and values as an organisation. Do they really align with your ideas on climate action? What other levers does your business have to be a catalyst for change?
The tools are available here and now to make a difference. The costs of change are not high (in many cases, like our solutions, change is cheaper). Start small, attack the low hanging fruit, there are plenty of win-win opportunities. In short, there are no excuses.
As part of our mission is at Ledgy to contribute to positive change in the world by helping entrepreneurs, we are proud to support candi and companies like them who are taking climate action.
Thanks again for your time during this interview and your commitment to climate action Philippe Flamand.
