Ledgy’s $10m Series A round in September ’21 marked the entry of renowned Silicon Valley investor Sequoia Capital into the Swiss startup ecosystem—almost 50 years after its founding.

We are an international and diverse team of 63 people, coming from 26 different countries and speaking 25 different languages.

As Head of Marketing at Ledgy, your mission will be to elevate our brand to become the most recognised equity management platform in Europe and beyond. You will be responsible for defining and implementing our product and growth marketing strategy, as well as our brand positioning. The Head of Marketing is a critical leadership role at Ledgy which reports directly to the CEO.

Short-term goals (3 months): define Ledgy’s growth and product marketing strategy

  • Evaluate Ledgy’s current positioning and messaging in order to develop and implement impactful marketing strategies
  • Direct market and customer research and analysis, including generating insights to inform outreach strategies and brand positioning
  • Build out our customer acquisition strategies in order to ensure a steady increase in new customers and improve customer retention through messaging and channel optimization **
  • Work closely with CX and Sales to promote products and services through knowledge sharing, product education, and industry insights and ensure alignment on product positioning across all channels
  • Evaluate Ledgy’s current team structure and start recruiting, developing, and managing a high-performance team of growth, product, and brand marketers

Medium/Long-Term goals (6 to 12 months): Become the most recognised equity management brand in Europe and beyond

  • Own and build the marketing strategy and function
  • Explore and test new means of revenue generation ways to market our products and services
  • Consider market trends, overall business goals, and the competitive landscape in order to build our brand strategy
  • Elevate Ledgy’s global brand and drive awareness in new markets

The job is a good fit if you

  • Have experience leading a marketing team, ideally in a B2B SaaS company
  • Have experience of building and delivering a marketing strategy in a high-growth company -you have a growth mindset and enjoy taking a hands-on approach
  • Consider yourself an ‘all-rounder’ who can manage growth, product, and brand marketing
  • Have experience managing a marketing budget and expenditures in a cost-conscious way, including demonstrating ROI in a complex industry
  • Feel at ease discussing a complex financial product and communicating our vision to empower teams with ownership
  • Can cultivate a thriving relationships between marketing and sales, customer success, and product
  • Enjoy breaking complex problems into smaller ones and working with data to facilitate your work using such tools as SQL, Python or Excel

Please note: within CH and UK we hire via our own entity, whilst outside of these countries we are able to offer employment opportunities via a global payroll service provider. Currently, we’re not able to accommodate freelancing agreement contracts.
