We've introduced vesting pauses, rolled out hurdle shares, and launched a new HR integration. Let's take a closer look at what's improved on Ledgy in November.
That's right – you can now pause vesting for any simple or custom vesting plan.
Vesting pauses let you reflect amended vesting patterns for anyone taking extended sabbaticals or absences, such as maternity or paternity leave.
Ledgy now supports hurdle shares! Many Ledgy customers have implemented hurdle share schemes, where employees see capital gains from their shares once those shares surpass a 'hurdle' price set by the company.
You can now set up new share classes in Ledgy with the 'hurdle' setting switched on. Once you've set up the share class, you can establish your hurdle price per share.
(Note: Hurdle shares on Ledgy respond to stock splits. For example, if your company splits its stock in two, the hurdle price will halve, and Ledgy will update users on the new hurdle price.)
